What you need to know to know to know
Where can I park?
Guests can park on-site at the venue. Follow the signs or turn right at the gate and follow the dirt road down to a large designated parking area.
How can I get to the venue?
The venue is only accessible by car, rideshare (Uber, Lyft) or taxi. It is recommended to arrange transportation in advance, or have someone pick you up after the wedding.

What is the estimated travel time to the venue?
Mount Glorious Getaways is approximately 60 minutes from Brisbane or North Lakes.
What happens if I'm running late?
Please contact our Event Coordinators or ask another guest to notify them. Ensure on arrival that you take care to not interrupt the service.
What food will be served?
Hail Mary will be catering, with a beautiful selection of Mexican food. They can accommodate all dietary requirements. A full menu is available here. Dinner will be served festival-style from their gorgeous food truck, with seating provided.
Do you have vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options?
Yes, Hail Mary can accommodate all dietary requirements! A full menu with is available here. Please note any dietary requirements in your RSVP.
What kind of drinks will be available?
We’ll have a selection of alcoholic and non-chocoholic drinks available for our guests. This will include soft-drinks, ciders, beer, wine, water and juice. You are also welcome to bring your own!
What is the RSVP deadline?
The RSVP deadline is August 24th, 2024.
What is the dress code?
Semi-formal or cocktail attire is requested.
Can I bring children?
Yes, children are welcome! However, please inform the Bride and Groom by the RSVP deadline (August 24th, 2024) so they can plan accordingly for food and seating.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, the venue is accessible. However, it is important to note that the venue is located in a garden and national park with hilly and uneven terrain. Please take care when walking around the venue.
Is there WiFi?
There will be limited Wi-Fi available on-site.
Is there mobile reception?
Mobile phone reception may also be limited at the venue. Be prepared for potential lack of reception.
Will there be restrooms on-site?
Portable Powder Rooms have been hired for the event. They will be situated down the hill and to the right of the marquee. To limit demand on the cabin facilities, please only use the powder rooms during the wedding.
Where can I dispose of waste?
There will be designated bins for recycle bottles and cans. Waste bins will also be provided for general waste. To limit our post-wedding waste removal, please use the correct bin for your rubbish.
What is the expected weather for the wedding day?
Mount Glorious in October tends to have highs of 25c and lows of 13c. We suggest bringing a jacket to avoid the chill of the night.
Is there a backup plan in case of bad weather?
In case of bad weather, we will relocate the ceremony under the cover of the marquee.
What shoes should I wear?
Heels might be difficult to navigate on uneven terrain and soft grass. WE recommend wedges or flat shoes..
What are the wildlife rules?
The venue is located in a national park. Please be aware of your surroundings and take care when driving around the venue. Please also keep contact with the wildlife to a minimum.
When can I post photos on social media?
Our guests are welcome to post photos and tag us on social media. However, we ask that no one shares photos of the bride and groom before they have a chance to do so.
Can I bring a plus one?
Yes, if specified in your invite.
Will there be professional photography?
Yes, we will have two photographers on site. We ask that our guests follow all directions and make them feel welcome!
Is there accommodation nearby?
Yes, there are several places to stay within 15 minutes of the venue. You can explore options here.
Should I bring a gift?
Gifts are not expected, but are always appreciated! We would only ask for contributions to our honeymoon or house renovation fund.
